Abstracts and Paper Submission

All authors are invited to submit an structured abstract (approximately 300 words; maximum 1 page). The abstracts will be peer-reviewed and if accepted published online in a supplement issue of the journal ‘Biomedical Engineering / Biomedizinische Technik’ by De Gruyter. The published abstracts will be available online on the De Gruyter website (free access).
In addition, authors are invited to submit an optional conference paper (2 – 4 pages). The conference paper will be peerreviewed and if accepted published online in the open access journal “Current Directions of Biomedical Engineering” by De Gruyter. Accepted conference papers will be available online on the De Gruyter website (open access).

Attention: The use of the templates below is mandatory

  • Both abstracts or conference papers have to be submitted in English and will be accepted if the template format (Word) was used accurately.
  • No editorial or layout changes can be done by the publisher after publication. By submitting your abstract and paper you accept the terms of the respective copyright agreement.
  • Abstracts have to be uploaded as PDF file in EDAS.
  • Papers have to be uploaded as PDF file in EDAS.
